Create Arts Project

Last year The Harlequin partnered with an organisation called Create to deliver a series of workshops aimed at uniting 30 disabled and non-disabled young people aged 16-17 from two schools in the Watford area culminating in a musical performance in The Harlequin in July 2010.  The project was extremely rewarding to everyone who took part, so much so that we have continued the project in 2011.  This year, students from each school are working together to produce creative pieces of art based on inspiration from The Harlequin and The Harlequin's 21st Birthday celebrations.  The art will then be used to influence the music composition workshops.  There will be a final performance of the music project in The Harlequin on Friday 15th July at 12.30pm and 1.30pm and the artwork will be available to view in our Gallery area from 19th July.
