21st Birthday

This September The Harlequin is excited to be celebrating its 21st Birthday.  We've got lots of exciting activities taking place throughout September to celebrate our birthday.  We hope you enjoy taking part and celebrating 21 years of inspired shopping at The Harlequin.

What's in the box?

From 1st to 18th September 21 lucky boxes will move around the centre, each relating to an exciting prize.  There are cryptic clues located around the centre and available on our Facebook and Twitter pages to help you guess the prizes inside each box!  You can enter into as many boxes as you like, with entry available in centre and online from 1st September.  A winner for each box will be chosen and invited back to the centre for the Grand Finale on Saturday 24th September where they will get to unveil their prizes!  Box 21 will be an extra-special prize drawn on the day, so you can enter right up until midday on 24th September.  Good luck!

£2100 Give Away with Heart 96.6FM

Each day from Monday 5th - Sunday 25th September one lucky listener will win a £100 Gift Card to spend at The Harlequin.  There will be cryptic questions to be answered relating to the 1990's and all things birthday!  Tune in each day for your chance to be one of our 21 lucky winners! More information can be found on Heart's website.

Autumn Fashion Shows

Celebrate 21 years of inspired shopping with our Autumn Fashion Show weekend.  Enjoy the latest trends from over 40 stores in our catwalk shows from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th Setpember.  Saturday's show will also play host to our Grand Finale of the 'What's in the box?' competition.  It's sure to be an exciting few days!  Plus you can have yourself an extra special treat on us with our free pamper pod.

21st Birthday Art Projects

On the 17th September you're invited to help us create a giant ‘21’ statue. Write a birthday message and tie a coloured piece of material to the wire structure to help us create a lasting memory of The Harlequin's 21st Birthday.  On the 18th September our young shoppers are invited to help us create a fantastic celebratory piece of artwork. Working with one of The Dan Tien’s talented artists, the little ones can add their paint hand print to the artwork.

Planting 21 Trees

In conjunction with Watford Borough Council and The Green Gym, The Harlequin plan to plant 21 trees during National Tree Week later this year. The planting will take place at Waterfields, a park within the Colne River Park which is shortly to be re-landscaped.  The 21 trees will be planted by members of The Harlequin team.
